I’m a seasoned fitness professional with over 40 years of coaching and teaching experience, starting at age 14, when I led my first martial arts program. I spent the last 25 years developing strength, cardio, and nutrition programs for a franchise organization, training thousands of instructors to lead classes with passion and purpose. Like many, I let middle age life sneak up on me, and for years, I couldn't "outexercise" undisciplined eating habits. At the end of 2024, I found myself needing a renewal as I was at my heaviest weight. I felt lonely and depressed as I saw my former athlete body fade away. I knew I needed a relaunch. I went on a mission to rethink what I had learned and apply some new principles of eating and exercise. My mindset shifted and I focused on the execution of my plan more than outcomes. My wife and I made sure we were not only eating the right amount of food, but that we were eating the most nutrient dense food possible throughout each day I convinced a childhood friend to workout together three early mornings a week for accountability and I built strength building programs based around the equipment we had available to us. With this new mindset and daily focus on eating clean, building strength and endurance, I lost over 45 pounds of body fat while maintaining my muscle mass. I can help you do the same. My mission is simple - to create a community movement that will encourage thousands of others like me gain positive traction on their health in their later years through clean eating and strength building.

Three focused strength building workouts per week to be done at home or with a partner. Simple, compound exercises with minimal equipment.
Together, we design meal plans based on clean eating practices and your food preferences. We focus on nutrient dense, whole foods, with minimally processed ingredients.

Do I need a workout partner for the exercises?
You don't need one, but doing the workouts with someone is always best! When you have a friend or family member doing the workouts together, it provides accountability and increased effort during the workout. Plus, you can split the cost of Project Build Strength with your workout partner! There are three workouts per week - upper body, lower body, and total body. It's recommended to do workouts on M-W-F or T-W-F to give space between the body focused workout and the final workout of the week - total body.
Is there a cardio element to this program?
For the first weeks of the program, build up a commitment to your strength and nutrition routines. That's our focus. Once you demonstrate to yourself that you can handle three workouts a week and want to add in your favorite cardio routines on days you're not doing strength, go for it! Adding 2-3 days of cardio or interval training into your routine will supercharge your progress.
How soon will I see results?
The Mission Relaunch isn't a results focused program. It's a lifestyle focused program where we focus on three things - building strength, eating whole, natural, nutrient dense foods, and supporting one another in The Mission Relaunch Community. Everyone's desired results will be different and on different timelines. Remember - there's only upside to eating healthier and building strength!
How long and how intense are the workouts?
Each workout is designed to be completed in 30 minutes, and they're as intense as you make them! The journey begins with low rep sets and builds over time to higher rep sets, so if you want to ease into the program, you can do lighter resistance to start and build on that. Or if you're already active and want to start with heavier resistance because you're doing low reps, you can start there, too!
Are the exercises difficult to do?
If you have experience in strength training, you'll recognize almost all of the exercises. Since we're squeezing as much into 30 minutes as possible, we focus on compound exercises that you can do in a small space. Our exercises are typically done in one motion to provide a safe experience.
